Processing of anonymous reports

A report in which the reporter does not disclose his identity is termed as an anonymous report. Likewise a report in which the reporter gives incorrect identification details is termed as a pseudonomous report. All reports are processed by the participating organization as per its policies. This applies to anonymous/pseudonomous reports as well. Thus some organizations may as a matter of policy enable anonymous reporting while others may not do so. Therefore you must make yourself aware of the reporting policies if any prevalent within your organization before lodging a report on this portal.

However please be advised that despite any stated policy to the contrary, there is nothing in law or otherwise which prevents an organization from suo moto examining and processing any report whether pseudonomous or anonymous, if it contains credible and verifiable facts which prima facie or upon a preliminary enquiry appear to be in the interest of the organization.
